A solitary tin boat
Adrift sebaceous seas
Amorphous shadows
Converging in precipice
Fractured, a dying sun
Submits to darkness

The slivered flame of
A searing reptilian eye
Lidless orbit vacillating
Sticky filament tongue
Lapping vitreous humors

A poet’s drifting heart
Ceraceous fingers,
Adhering to ambrosial residence,
These hollowing memories
