Rorshach Impressions (2 short poems)

Turning over

In your belly

I am waiting

For the wind

To shatter

This skyless cocoon

My heart is timid

Only as wide

As the eye of a needle

I am your Gemini,

The parasitic twin

The mortal thread

Dragging your footsteps

Into the ground,

Without risk

Of death

No mien

Would animate

Without risk

There exists

No life at all

As this is my response to the prompt I used the image in the prompt for inspiration but as all my posts come with a picture I didn’t want to use the same one side by side. Encase you are wondering why I didn’t participate in last week’s prompt it is because I am really superstitious lol

Prompt 29: Rorshach Test

rorshachHere is the image you will be contemplating for this week’s prompt.

Now usually I would offer you multiple images but this week I want to see how one picture can inspire individuality. As always I accept all types of self-expression so whatever your preferred medium. Remember to read and comment to as many entries as possible =) I have noticed a lot of you routinely leaving feedback for your fellow participants so I would like to thank you for that!
