Wordle #128 “November 7th, 2016”

Week 128.png

An irreplaceable fetish,
an ingénue doused in scarlet
letters by the dose, ensnare.
I will always treasure
the lies you subliminally wove
into the crevices
of my beleaguered soul.

You are more maze than mistress.
What constitutes a silver lining?
Is it when two vandals unstitch themselves
from the stars they have forsaken?
I will never forget the constellations
we casually addressed, pockets of time,
repurposed for the sake of sex.

Is it a tusk? A scapula?
A heart petrified and necroscopic?
I strip my casings
my indigenous fluids
and surrender
to my infinite nothings.
When we reach the end,
subtle as sin, fluted, and forgotten
we will remember fondly
the ecstasy of imperfection.

  1. “Is it when two vandals unstitch themselves
from the stars they have forsaken?” – I loved this part, and ofcourse, you are the queen and highness of endings! I don’t want to sound repetitive, but I always have to mention it because I am reading your poem and always nodding yes, yes,yes 😀
