Wordle #191 “Borrowed and Blue”

191

Brenda Warren

Forever invalidates everything

That you believe in but a more

Definitive expiration would not

Upholster my manic sentimentality.

My mind poses as a spacecraft,

An angel spinning toward endeavor

A precipitous lunacy spread

Across panes of glass

Like the treads of an outcast nimbus.

I recognize the loser within

By the recumbency of your lips,

A tangle of excuses

Snuffing the philosophy within.

Whether this planet or another

I’ll never say that which the pen

Cannot more deftly borrow.

I think I figured out the source of my WP problems. WP is attempting to schedule my posts, it is saving the dates of the drafts and preventing immediate publication which means my dates are a day off because I save them at night so I can think about them and post in the morning. I can’t unschedule once it is scheduled so I just have to redue the post from scratch. I am reposting this now.

  1. I
    want
    to
    live
    on
    the
    spacecraft
    called
    Enterprise
    and
    fly
    through
    the
    universe
    passing
    planets
    and
    angels
    alike
    forgetting
    about
    the
    lunatic
    Borg
    as
    I
    endeavor
    to
    spread
    good
    will
    and
    remove
    the
    tangle
    of
    thread
    that
    wraps
    us
    in
    lies
    and
    secrets

    I
    want
    to
    lose
    the
    doctrine
    rhetoric
    and
    false
    trails
    spinning
    around
    us
    words
    and
    beliefs
    left
    by
    those
    who
    say
    the
    status
    quo
    is
    all
    there
    is

    I
    want
    forever
    to
    be
    a
    better
    place

    • What a beautiful wish. Star Trek is so thought-provoking I have been watching through them as an adult. I saw episodes here and there of the various series as a child but wanted to see everything
